ResponsibilitiesAssist veterinarians during appointments, treatments, and proceduresSafely restrain patients for examinations, diagnostics, and treatmentsCollect blood, urine, fecal, and other laboratory samplesPerform in-house laboratory testing and prepare samples for outside laboratoriesPrepare exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgical suitesMonitor hospitalized patients and report changes in conditionAssist with anesthesia monitoring, surgical preparation, and patient recovery (based on experience)Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarianTake and process radiographsEducate clients on medications, preventive care, and discharge instructionsMaintain accurate medical recordsHelp keep the hospital clean, organized, and running efficientlyQualificationsWe're looking for candidates who have:
Previous experience working as a Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician (required)Strong patient restraint and animal handling skillsExperience with laboratory procedures, radiology, and patient careSurgical and anesthesia experience is a plusExcellent communication and client service skillsThe ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environmentA positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to support the teamScheduleFull-time positionChoose between four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shiftsOne Saturday shift each month is requiredBenefitsWe believe in taking care of our team by offering:
