Springs Family Veterinary Hospital is now accepting applications for an Experienced Veterinary Assistant. Springs Family Vet is a Fear Free hospital that strives to create a positive and low-stress environment. Our practice is centered around compassionate care and exceptional service extending to our clients, patients, and professional veterinary team. We utilize the science of animal behavior to recognize and reduce stressful veterinary visits for both patients and their owners. Our VA's are pivotal for implementing these techniques to provide next level patient care. Our team is trained to become proficient in gentle control restraint and other fear free techniques. Our ideal candidate has compassion for both animals and people, is self-motivated and enthusiastic, has an outstanding work ethic, and is open to learning and growing as a professional. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), strong computer skills, attention to detail, a team-oriented mindset, and experience in the veterinary field is required. Our hospital hours are Monday through Thursday 8-6 and Friday 8-4. We are seeking a team member who is available to be scheduled flexibly.
