Job Description

Job Summary As a veterinary assistant, you will be involved in all aspects of animal care we offer. This may include, but not limited to, assisting veterinarians and veterinary technicians under direct or indirect supervision. Your responsibilities may also include any activities to help run the practice effectively. Duties could involve scheduling appointments, managing inventory, maintaining equipment and work areas, transporting animals, assisting the office manager, or anything else necessary to serve our patients and clients. Most of your duties will be performed in the clinic, but occasionally you may be asked to assist on farm calls. Our practice focuses on canine reproduction, although we are a mixed animal practice that serves a wide variety of clients and patients. Must be able to lift 40-50lbs.
