Job Description

Countryside Animal Hospital is a busy, fast paced Small Animal Care Practice in Massillon. We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant or Technician to add to our staff. The proper candidate must be able to assist the doctor in the exam rooms by restraining animals, performing blood tests, I.V. Catheters, taking x-rays, giving injections, drug calcultations, nail trimming, anal gland expression and client education. We perform many differant types of surgeries and procedures; Spays, Neuters, Ear Crops, Artificial Inseminations, Declaws, Dentals, Amputations, Caesareans, Orhopedics, Foreign Bodies, Tumor Removal etc... You will be responsible for Surgical Preparation, Surgical Assisting, Anesthesia Monitoring and Patient Recovery. We will train the right candidate that has experience in Veterinary Assisting.
