What You'll Do As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll play an essential role in helping our doctors and technicians provide outstanding care.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting doctors and technicians with patient care and treatments Safely restraining dogs and cats for exams and procedures Preparing exam rooms and maintaining a clean, organized work environment Cleaning, sterilizing, and preparing surgical instruments Assisting with surgery preparation and patient recovery Performing laboratory tests and diagnostic support as trained Taking patient histories and recording medical information Filling medications and preparing prescriptions Educating clients on preventive care and treatment plans Helping maintain hospital cleanliness and organization Working as part of a collaborative team to provide an exceptional client experience What We're Looking For We're searching for someone who: Has a genuine love for animals and their people Thrives in a fast-paced environment Has excellent communication and teamwork skills Is dependable, positive, and willing to jump in wherever needed Can multitask while maintaining attention to detail Is eager to learn and grow professionally Can lift up to 50 pounds and safely handle animals of various sizes Previous veterinary experience is preferred but we're willing to train the right candidate with a great attitude.
