Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
Perform various diagnostic tests, such as blood work and X-rays
Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures
Monitor animals during recovery and provide post-operative care
Clean and maintain veterinary equipment and instruments
Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and procedures
Dental & Extractions Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Veterinary technician certification or associate degree in veterinary technology preferred
Experience working with animals in a veterinary setting
Knowledge of animal physiology, care, and restraint techniques
Proficiency in performing diagnostic tests, such as X-rays and blood work
Familiarity with aseptic technique and veterinary critical care procedures
