Primarily a veterinary technician with occasional need to perform front desk duties needed for a growing small animal practice in Palm Shores. We are looking for a motivated and passionate team player dedicated to providing high level patient care as well as superior client service. Good communication skills between team members and clients are a must. The responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to answering phones, documenting communications in medical records, providing clients with animal care instructions, animal handling,performing minor diagnostics such as heartworm testing, reading fecal floatation, performing in house blood work and urinalysis, and basic cytology. The position is full time with 32-36 scheduled hours, or 4.5 days per week. We have developed strong relationships with our clients and provide very personal care. It is imperative that a potential candidate is motivated to continue the high level of personal service we pride ourselves on.
