For more than 35 years, we have been committed to providing exceptional veterinary care while building lasting relationships with the families and pets we serve. We're looking for a compassionate, dependable Veterinary Technician who enjoys working closely with veterinarians, values client education, and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care. This position is cross-trained between our treatment and reception areas, allowing our team to work together to provide a seamless experience for both our patients and clients. Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with appointments, surgical procedures, anesthesia, and patient recovery.
• Provide compassionate nursing care, patient handling, and treatment administration.
• Perform phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, laboratory testing, sample collection, and digital radiography, including dental radiographs.
• Perform dental prophylaxis and assist with dental procedures.
• Accurately maintain medical records, treatment documentation, and invoicing.
• Welcome clients, schedule appointments, answer phones, process payments, and provide exceptional client service.
• Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, preventive care, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient hospital.
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to deliver exceptional patient care while creating a welcoming and positive experience for every client and pet.

• One year of experience as a Veterinary Technician in a small animal practice required.
• Excellent communication and client education skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and able to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a busy clinical setting.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn, grow, and support fellow team members.
• Ability to lift and restrain animals weighing up to 50-80 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform the physical duties associated with a veterinary practice.

CVT/RVT/LVT

credential is a plus!

• Working knowledge of surgical assistance, anesthesia monitoring, phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, digital radiography, laboratory procedures, and dental prophylaxis preferred.
