For more than 35 years, we have been committed to providing exceptional veterinary care while building lasting relationships with the families and pets we serve. As an independently owned practice, we believe in taking the time to do what's right for our patients, supporting one another as a team, and creating an environment where both employees and clients feel like family. We're looking for a compassionate, dependable Veterinary Technician who enjoys working closely with veterinarians, values client education, and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care. This position is cross-trained between our treatment and reception areas, allowing our team to work together to provide a seamless experience for both our patients and clients. Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with appointments, surgical procedures, anesthesia, and patient recovery.
  • Provide compassionate nursing care, patient handling, and treatment administration.
  • Perform phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, laboratory testing, sample collection, and digital radiography, including dental radiographs.
  • Perform dental prophylaxis and assist with dental procedures.
  • Accurately maintain medical records, treatment documentation, and invoicing.
  • Welcome clients, schedule appointments, answer phones, process payments, and provide exceptional client service.
  • Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, preventive care, and discharge instructions.
  • Maintain exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient hospital.
  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to deliver exceptional patient care while creating a welcoming and positive experience for every client and pet.

  • One year of experience as a Veterinary Technician in a small animal practice required.
  • Excellent communication and client education skills.
  • Compassionate, dependable, and able to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a busy clinical setting.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn, grow, and support fellow team members.
  • Ability to lift and restrain animals weighing up to 50-80 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform the physical duties associated with a veterinary practice.
CVT/RVT/LVT
credential is a plus!
  • Working knowledge of surgical assistance, anesthesia monitoring, phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, digital radiography, laboratory procedures, and dental prophylaxis preferred.
