Veterinary Technician (Part-Time) Precision Pet Urgent Care | Plainville, MA | Part-Time | Sundays | Competitive Pay Based on Experience Looking for something more than "just another clinic job"? Precision Pet Urgent Care is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our privately owned urgent care team on Sundays. While certification is welcomed, we are primarily looking for someone with strong technical skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for exceptional patient care. This position offers a consistent Sunday schedule at our Plainville hospital, with the opportunity for additional weekday or weekend hours—and potential for a full-time hybrid position—at our sister hospital, PawsitiveCare, in Maynard, MA, as our practices continue to grow. Qualifications Veterinary technician experience required Certification (CVT/LVT/RVT) preferred but not required Urgent care and/or emergency experience preferred but not required Strong technical and patient care skills Excellent communication and client education abilities Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow Desired Skills & Experience - Willing to train right candidate on more technically advanced skills! Phlebotomy and IV catheter placement Cystocentesis Surgical and dental assistance Anesthesia induction and monitoring Emergency triage and patient stabilization Radiology positioning and diagnostic sample collection Medication calculations and pharmacology knowledge Client communication and education OSHA and DEA compliance awareness Inventory management and hospital organization Initiative, adaptability, and strong teamwork This position works closely with our veterinarians, hospital leadership, and fellow technicians to provide exceptional patient care while helping maintain an efficient, supportive, and medically progressive hospital environment.
