Job Overview Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) - 3-4 Days/Week Monett Veterinary Hospital | Monett, Missouri Monett Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team! We are a well-established, AAHA-accredited small animal hospital that believes RVTs are an important part of the medical team. We're looking for someone who enjoys using their technical skills, providing excellent patient care, and building positive relationships with our clients. What the Position Looks Like 3-4 days per week Daytime small-animal general practice Hands-on involvement in medical and surgical cases A variety of cases and opportunities to fully utilize your RVT skills Supportive, team-oriented work environment Responsibilities May Include IV catheter placement and venipuncture Anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery Surgical and dental assisting Dental prophylaxis and dental radiographs Digital radiography In-house laboratory testing Medication administration Hospitalized patient care Patient restraint and handling Client education and communication Maintaining accurate medical records What We're Looking For Current RVT credential or eligibility for Missouri registration Strong technical and patient-care skills Dependable, positive, and team-oriented Compassionate with patients and clients Good organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work efficiently in a busy veterinary hospital Excellent client communication and customer service skills are a must At Monett Veterinary Hospital, we place a high value on the client experience. We want someone who can communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners, make clients feel welcomed and cared for, and provide the level of customer service that keeps families confident in their pet's care. Compensation $18-$24/hour based on experience and skill level. We welcome both newer RVTs and experienced technicians. Advanced skills and experience in areas such as anesthesia, dentistry, surgery, patient care, and client communication will be reflected in compensation.
