Job Description

Happy Pets Veterinary Hospital, a progressive and busy small animal hospital, is hiring 2 full time technicians (certified a plus) to join our growing team. We require a minimum of 2 years experience but would prefer a candidate with 3+ years of experience in veterinary medicine. Currently we have 3 FT doctors, practice manager, 4 FT veterinary technicians, 3 PT veterinary technicians and 3 FT CSR's on staff. Main requirements of new hire include being able to speak professionally to clients, phlebotomy, placing IV catheters, intubation, triaging sick patients, monitor anesthesia, radiographs, drug logs, pharmacy, taking care of surgical equipment and discharging patients.

SURGERY SKILLS IS A MUST!

We are a very busy hospital who is looking for the right employee. We routinely see same day appointments and very rarely turn away a sick visit unless we are at our max. I have always had the philosophy of what is the purpose of having a primary care physician if they cannot see you in their time of need. So yes, there are some days that we work through lunch or get out an hour late, but we compensate very well for this. The main attributes that I look for in a candidate is accountability, punctuality, loyalty, hard working, and no complaining as this creates a toxic environment. We are a young and extremely busy Veterinary Hospital that is looking for the right employee who can grow with us. The right candidate will receive a $500 bonus upon six consecutive months of employment.
