Job Description

About us: Feline Only vet practice looking for enthusiastic cat lover to join our team. Seeking a Part Time/Full Time Licensed Veterinary Technician that has a positive attitude and strong communication skills and enjoy working with people and their cats. Must be reliable and honest. Experience in the veterinary field required. Qualifications Experience as a veterinary technician or assistant. Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT, RVT, or LVT) preferred - or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements. Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required. Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT, RVT, or LVT) preferred - or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements. Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures. Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines. Collect lab samples and maintain accurate patient records. Educate clients on pet care and ensure a clean, organized work environment. Providing general nursing care Examining cats and checking vitals in preparation for the Veterinarian Taking X-rays of cats Administering first aid for emergencies Administering medication and treatments Monitoring cats under anesthesia Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures. Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines. Collect lab samples and maintain accurate patient records. Educate clients on pet care and ensure a clean, organized work environment .
Must have:
Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT, RVT, or LVT) preferred - or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements. Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required.
