Job Overview Join our dynamic veterinary team as a Veterinary Technician and become a vital part of providing exceptional animal care! In this energetic role, you will support veterinarians in delivering comprehensive medical services, ensuring the comfort and health of our beloved patients. Your expertise will help facilitate smooth clinic operations, from assisting during surgeries to performing diagnostic tests, all while engaging with pet owners to promote pet wellness. Duties Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures using veterinary anesthesia monitoring and critical care techniques. Perform animal restraint, handling, and husbandry to ensure safety for both animals and staff. Conduct laboratory work including phlebotomy, diagnostic radiology, and sample processing to aid in accurate diagnosis. Operate medical equipment such as X-ray machines and laboratory analyzers while maintaining aseptic techniques. Administer medications, vaccines, and fluids via IV insertion or vascular access with precision and care. Maintain detailed records using veterinary software and ensure compliance with veterinary terminology and procedures.
Experience Demonstrated veterinary technician experience with knowledge of animal physiology, anatomy, and veterinary surgical assistance. Familiarity with dental terminology, anesthesia protocols (including general anesthesia), and emergency medicine procedures. Laboratory experience including phlebotomy, radiology diagnostics, and laboratory work is preferred. Experience working with diverse animals such as dogs, cats, and other small or exotic animals is a plus. Strong communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration are essential for success in this role.

Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 - 40.0 per week
