Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician/Veterinary Tech Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess the necessary skills to assist in providing high-quality veterinary services. Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians in medical procedures and surgeries
Perform laboratory tests such as urinalysis and blood counts
Administer medications and vaccines under supervision
Monitor and care for animals post-surgery
Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress
Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment plans Skills
Proficiency in veterinary critical care
Knowledge of veterinary terminology
Ability to perform aseptic techniques effectively
Experience pet care is a plus
Understanding of animal anatomy and physiology
Familiarity with small animal care practices
Knowledge of kennel operations and animal husbandry
Familiarity with dental terminology for animals
