Full Job Description Role:
A Credentialed Veterinary Technician provides comprehensive patient care, assists with diagnostics, anesthesia, surgery, dental care, radiology, and lab procedures. They act as leaders and mentors within the medical team and serve as key contacts for pet owners, educating clients and reviewing medical records.
Responsibilities:
Utilize full technical skillset, support team workflows, mentor colleagues, and contribute to maintaining high standards of patient care and hospital environment. Collaborate on complex cases, participate in internal specialty consultations, and promote a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications & Skills:
Graduate from an AVMA-accredited program, hold a current state veterinary technician license, and demonstrate proficiency in nursing, surgical, dental, radiology, and lab procedures. Must have strong communication skills, a calm approach in stressful situations, and ideally, one year of veterinary experience.
