Job Summary
The
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, and stalking in navigating the judicial system within the designated courthouses.
Provide individualized safety planning tailored to each survivor's unique circumstances.
Offer clear and accurate information about relevant laws and court procedures.
Connect survivors with appropriate referral services and community resources.
Serve as a liaison between survivors and court personnel to facilitate access to justice and support.
Maintain confidentiality and uphold the dignity and rights of all survivors.
Travel as needed to cover multiple courthouse locations within Worcester County.
Document interactions and maintain accurate records in accordance with agency policies.
Qualifications & SkillsExperience working with survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, and stalking preferred.
Knowledge of the judicial system and court processes related to protective orders and related legal remedies.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide empathetic support.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to travel between multiple courthouse locations within Worcester County.
