Role Description The Corrections Oversight Worker is a full-time, on-site position based in Thornton, PA. This role supports daily food service and related operations within a correctional facility, helping ensure safety, compliance with facility policies, and adherence to Aramark standards. Responsibilities include overseeing assigned work areas, supporting and monitoring individuals performing job tasks, and maintaining a clean, organized, and secure environment. The Corrections Oversight Worker collaborates with facility staff, follows security protocols, and reports operational or safety concerns promptly. The role contributes to reliable service delivery and a professional atmosphere that supports rehabilitation and job readiness. Qualifications Ability to follow and enforce safety, security, and facility regulations in a correctional environment. Strong communication, observation, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse populations. Reliability and professionalism, including punctuality, integrity, and respect for all individuals. Capacity to perform tasks that may involve standing for long periods, light to moderate lifting, and working in a fast-paced setting. Prior experience in corrections, food service, facilities, or related fields is beneficial but not required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; additional training in safety, security, or human services is an advantage. Willingness to complete background checks, security clearances, and facility-specific training.
