Day-To-Day Monitors the residential staff within the facility for daily performance and compliance with applicable policies and procedures. Assigns shift duties to Residential Monitors and maintains chronological written records of events that occur during the shift. Ensures facility maintenance and monitor client housekeeping assignments. Observes client behavior and report abnormal behavior to supervisor in a timely manner and in a manner consistent with the situation. Obtains UA's and BA's to monitor client substance use. Makes periodic tours of the facility and its grounds, monitoring number of clients in facility, their activities and activities of visitors. Maintains and audits client sign in/out folders, medication logs, and visitor logs; submits written report to Facility Director outlining deficiencies. Controls contraband in facility through observations, general pat searches, and room searches and documents all deficiencies. Monitors the documentation of all disciplinary action to ensure accuracy and timeliness of reports. Monitors the self-administration of all medication to clients and document the activity, and conducts unannounced audits of medication log sheets. Performs partial intakes on new or transferred clients, issue keys, linen, lock, and bed. Ensure property inventory is conducted on all new arrivals. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalency required. Valid Texas Drivers' License, clear MVR and ability to be insured required.
