Job Location:

Division of Professional Registration, Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts, East Region. This position will work from a Missouri home office. Day travel is required. Responsibilities - What you'll do What you'll do: Conduct investigations of suspected violations and or incidents related to administrative law. Collect, assemble, and preserve facts, statements, affidavits for use in legal actions. Prepare and review detailed reports of investigative findings. Serve subpoenas. Testify in criminal, civil, and administrative proceedings. Qualifications - All you need for success What we are looking for: Minimum Qualifications One or more years of experience as an Non-Commissioned Investigator or two or more years of civil, administrative or criminal investigative experience, or experience as a law enforcement officer; and graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with specialization in criminal justice, law enforcement, criminology, business administration, social sciences or closely related areas. (Additional qualifying experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis for deficiencies in required education.) Knowledge of computer applications such as Adobe Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. Lack of post ‐ secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant. Preferred Qualifications Prior law enforcement experience with an emphasis in investigations. Ability to prepare clear, organized and detailed reports of investigative findings. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely. Ability to travel within the state with some overnight stays. Resident of Missouri.
