Position:
Average 20 hours per week. Must be available to work Monday through Friday Shifts available are 7-8:30 am and 3:30-6 pm. Being able to work both is preferred. Perfect for college or high school students. This position reports to School Age Program Director.

None Job Summary School Age Group Leaders are essential leaders for Susanna Wesley's ministries and programs geared toward elementary school-age children and their families, including our School-Age Program, which is currently licensed for 90 school-age children in a Before and After School Care, School Days Out, and Summer Camp. School Age Group Leaders are responsible for program implementation and engagement with children and families to create experiences and environments for children to find a safe place to belong and grow in the love of God and neighbor. Qualifications for Group Leader Is at least 18 years of age
MUST HAVE
a high school diploma or a GED credential Has job-related experience working with school-age children or youth. Familiar with child and youth development Knows the licensing regulations governing school-age programs Has an understanding of age-appropriate activities. Can communicate clearly. Has skills and abilities to implement the program of activities Able to foster positive, healthy relationships with children or youth. Be willing and able to become Safe Gatherings certified Has a deepening relationship with Jesus Christ, preferred. Qualifications for Assistant Group Leader Is at least 16 years of age Has job-related or volunteer experience working with school-age children or youth. Familiar with child and youth development Knows the licensing regulations governing school-age programs or is willing to learn Has an understanding of age-appropriate activities. Can communicate clearly. Has skills and abilities to implement the program of activities Able to foster positive, healthy relationships with children or youth. Be willing and able to become Safe Gatherings certified Has a deepening relationship with Jesus Christ, preferred. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide supervision and direction to the children and youth assigned to the group Supervise group activities during all the hours children and youth are present. Provide supervision and direction to an assistant group leader.
