DIMENSIONS
: This is a 12-month position, working 40 hours per week during the school year, and approximately 30 hours per week when school is not in session, including holiday breaks and summer.
DESCRIPTION
St. Odilia is looking to add an outgoing individual to our staff to help us welcome parents, families, and guests to our beautiful school. Each day, this staff person will graciously greet visitors; monitor and sign in parents, students, and guests; assist with supervision at morning drop-off and end of day pick-up; monitor the security cameras and activity within the building; oversee the Approved Volunteer List and assist with Safe Environment policies and procedures; and assist with office tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
This individual must be able to support the mission and philosophy of the school. This staff person must uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, trust, and integrity in all interactions. This person will model professional behaviors. This staff person will help champion a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with Archdiocesan policies for children, youth, and vulnerable adults. This individual will be responsible for working with the Parish Safe Environment Coordinator to conduct regular audits, communicate compliance deadlines, and collaborate with school leaders to ensure everyone is protected. This person must communicate clearly and compassionately with students, staff, volunteers, and parishioners. This individual should be competent with technology. This person must be a self-starter and be able to work independently. This staff person must hold a high school degree or higher. This is a 12-month position, working 40 hours per week during the school year, and approximately 30 hours per week when school is not in session, including holiday breaks and summer. This person must complete first aid/CPR training.
