07/01/2022 PRIMARY PURPOSE Supervise students during lunch, recess, or other assigned activities. Maintain an orderly and safe environment. Work under the general supervision of the principal, assistant principal, or teacher as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:

• High school diploma or

GED Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Ability to successfully interact with children

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Experience:

• None required; some experience working with children preferred

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Student Management 1. Work with campus administrators and teachers to create and maintain an orderly, secure, and safe environment. 2. Manage student behavior and take disciplinary action as necessary according to board policies, administrative regulations, and campus guidelines. 3. Guide students through the lunch line and keep the line moving smoothly. 4. Ensure the cleanliness of the assigned area is maintained. Other 1. Maintain confidentiality regarding student and coworker information as required by

FERPA. 2.

Participate in staff development training programs, faculty meetings, and special events as assigned. 3. Perform light office and clerical duties as assigned. 4. Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
