Job Summary Reporting to the QC Manager, the Quality Control Generalist will be responsible and accountable for leading the development, deployment and management of
IATF 16949
Document Information Management, Training and Competency Record maintenance, Quality Alerts and Corrective Actions both internal and external (Customers and Supplier), Internal Audits, EASE process audits and cross-functional support across the OAC enterprise. This role ensures that all documentation is accurate, up‑to‑date, properly stored, and easily accessible to internal teams. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, proactive, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. Functions & Essential Duties Key Responsibilities Maintain and administer document management systems to ensure proper version control and document integrity. Receive, log, track, and distribute incoming documents, drawings, and correspondence. Ensure all documents meet organizational formatting, quality, and compliance standards. Assign document numbers and apply metadata, file naming conventions, and standardized templates. Organize and maintain document archives and ensure recoverability through backups. Support project teams by providing timely access to correct document versions. Monitor workflows, approvals, and review cycles to ensure deadlines are met. Coordinate revision processes, including redlines, approvals, and final sign‑off. Manage confidentiality by controlling document access and permissions. Create, manage and maintain EASE Audit application and train personnel. Monitor outcomes of EASE audit and corrective actions for improvements. Run reports and present to leadership as and when required. Participate in audits and contribute to process improvements related to document control. Train staff on document management procedures and tools as needed. Administrative
  • With input and direction from QEs, maintain the TS16949 and
ISO 14001
audit CAR process
  • Prepare monthly reports needed for QMS
  • Where training is provided to achieve competency, documented information shall be retained to demonstrate the trainer's competency with the above requirements.
  • Scheduling of various audits and adapting changes as necessary for internal and external requirements.
Specific qualifications required:
Experience in document control, administrative support, or records management for internal audits which includes but not limited to Ease audits, etc. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency with document management systems or similar platforms (e.g., SharePoint) Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
Preferred:
Experience in manufacturing environment both in office and shop floor. Familiarity with
ISO/IATF
standards, or regulatory requirements. Understanding of technical documents such as work instructions, procedures, specifications, and SOPs. Core Competencies Accuracy & Detail Orientation Process Discipline & Time Management Communication & Collaboration Confidentiality & Professional Integrity Technical Aptitude (document systems, workflows,etc.) Work Environment Office work setting. May require occasional lifting of document boxes or archives. Requires extended periods of working at a computer. Requires time on the shop floor to manage Quality Alerts as part of controlling documents. Education & Required Experience 4 year degree (business or program/project degree preferred) Minimum 4 years of quality experience preferably in automotive
  • Computer literacy (word, excel, power point, outlook, SharePoint)
  • Must have the ability to read, write and understand English in a manner that is sufficient for effective communication to accomplish responsibilities and tasks
