Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Document Control Specialist role based in Bonham, TX. The Document Control Specialist maintains and organizes engineering, production, and quality documentation, ensuring that all records are accurate, current, and properly stored. Daily responsibilities include creating and updating document files, tracking revisions, managing approvals, and distributing controlled documents to appropriate stakeholders. The role also involves reviewing documents for completeness and compliance with internal standards, supporting audit and inspection activities, and collaborating with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve document-related issues. The specialist helps improve document control processes, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures consistent adherence to company documentation procedures. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Documentation and Document Management, including organizing, updating, and tracking technical and administrative records. Experience with ISO9001 is mandatory. Candidates should possess skills in Records Management, including retention, archiving, and retrieval of physical and digital documents. Candidates should possess skills in Document Review and Quality Control, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company and industry standards. Proficiency with document control software, databases, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with ERP or QMS systems is beneficial. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing or engineering environment. Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Previous experience in document control, records management, or quality administration in industrial, engineering, or manufacturing settings is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree or relevant certification in document control, quality, or related fields is a plus.
