We are seeking an experienced Quality Specialist - Auditing, Document Control & Customer Support to join a growing aerospace manufacturing team. This role is responsible for supporting internal quality audits, managing controlled documentation, coordinating customer documentation requests, and ensuring compliance with AS9100 and customer quality requirements. The ideal candidate has a strong quality assurance background in aerospace manufacturing, exceptional organizational skills, and a keen attention to detail.
Compensation:
$24.00-$29.00/hr

Auburn, WA Responsibilities:
Perform and support scheduled internal quality audits and maintain audit records. Prepare audit reports and assist with corrective action documentation. Manage engineering drawing releases and incoming customer design data. Maintain document control systems, records, and quality documentation. Respond to customer documentation requests and quality surveys. Coordinate communications with customers and internal departments. Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted on time. Assist with dimensional inspections and First Article Inspections (FAIs) as needed. Support quality system compliance and perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED preferred. 10+ years of quality assurance experience in aerospace manufacturing. 10+ years of experience with nonconforming material control and corrective action processes. Strong knowledge of AS9100 quality management systems. Familiarity with Boeing BDS, Boeing BCA, and Boeing BGS quality requirements. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Experience with document control, internal auditing, and customer quality documentation. Ability to obtain required customer portal access (such as Exostar). Proficient with Microsoft Office and standard PC applications. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Must be eligible to work in accordance with U.S. Export Control regulations.
