The opportunity
We are seeking a talented Support Engineering Data Specialist to support the Maintenance & Logistic support services program. The role is based in Oakey and you will be working as a Support Engineering Data Specialist helping progress the Operator and Maintenance Technical Manuals and Engineering instructions. The position will require candidates to possess the following attributes:

As a Support Engineering Data Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Development and review of critical and routine technical publication revision tasking for the
RSAF MLSS
customer.
Working closely with MLSS engineering staff to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks to achieve project revision deliveries.
Conducting quality and in process reviews and validation of technical publications and technical data.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will have a collaborative team approach, well developed analytical skills and excellent written and verbal skills.
The ability to evaluate technical source data and specifications
The ability to communicate with technical personnel from multiple skill areas and functions to evaluate technical information and issues impacting design, production, and support of products, services, or other deliverables
The ability to analyse problems (troubleshooting, fault isolation, repair, modification, or redesign) of assigned end items to support the design, development and modification of company products using knowledge of engineering disciplines
Demonstrated understand of Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM)
A high standard of communication skills that facilitate interaction between the project staff and key internal customer group.
Aircraft experience desirable.
XML or SGML experience desirable; and
