Full Time Position Overview\nEnvironmental Managers at Kiewit play a critical role in helping deliver complex industrial projects the right way — safely, responsibly, and in full alignment with environmental standards and regulations. This is a high-impact opportunity for an environmental professional who enjoys being close to the work, partnering with operations, and helping project teams solve challenges in real time. In this role, you will lead environmental compliance efforts for the Monarch Data Center and Power Generation project in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, overseeing permitting, inspections, reporting, stormwater management, waste management, agency coordination, and community-facing environmental requirements. Location\nThis position will be based on-site in Point Pleasant, WV supporting construction of the Monarch project. Relocation to the area is required, and relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate.\nKiewit is one of North America's largest and most respected construction and engineering organizations, delivering complex industrial, power, infrastructure, transportation, water, and mining projects. Responsibilities Implement programs and procedures to assure the compliance of the company's domestic construction site with applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations.\nSupervise job environmental process and address any potential violations and concerns.\nImplement programs, procedures, and policies to assure proper environmental monitoring and management.\nAssist engineering and operations management in planning for compliance of new and modified processes and operations with environmental regulations.\nOversee permit applications and application renewal in compliance with environmental regulations; assist supervisors, managers, and others in obtaining and maintaining environmental permits.\nPrepare and submit required environmental reports to regulatory agencies in a timely and accurate manner.\nMaintain comprehensive records of permits, inspections, and compliance activities.\nParticipate in environmental issue investigations, overseeing reporting and implementation of corrective actions.\nDevelop and implement environmental training programs.\nImplement community right-to-know programs relative to the project's compliance with environmental regulations and standards.\nThis position will oversee a team of environmental compliance specialists. Qualifications Minimum of 7 years of industry experience in environmental compliance, working knowledge of environmental codes and standards\nSignificant demonstrated experience related to the areas of responsibility for environmental compliance for industrial construction projects or similar is a plus but not necessary.\nBachelor's degree in environmental engineering, biology, or related field.\nCPESC Certification is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel).\nDetail oriented, flexible, and highly motivated.\nStrong work ethic and professional demeanor.\nEffective time management and organizational skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.\nExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.\nMust be team player but able to work independently to meet intense deadlines, goals, and objectives. #LI-TJ1\n
