In addition, FireTrade LLC offers emergency lighting and exit sign service and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations. The team is focused on reliable service, regulatory adherence, and protecting people and property through proactive safety solutions. Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Fire Suppression Technician role based in Greenville, SC. The Fire Suppression Technician will perform routine inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, and related life safety equipment. Daily responsibilities include servicing and documenting inspections of emergency lighting, exit signs, AED units, and eye wash stations in accordance with applicable codes and standards. The role involves troubleshooting equipment issues, identifying safety hazards, and recommending corrective actions to clients. The technician will maintain accurate service records, follow company safety protocols, and interact professionally with customers at their facilities. Qualifications Demonstrated experience with fire suppression systems, fire extinguishers, including inspection, servicing, and maintenance. Knowledge of life safety equipment and practices, such as AEDs, eye wash stations, emergency lighting, and exit signage. Hands-on experience with fire suppression systems and related components in commercial or industrial settings. Understanding of fire safety principles, relevant codes, and regulatory compliance requirements. Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving issues with safety and suppression equipment. High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in fire protection or safety is a plus. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting equipment, working on ladders, and standing for extended periods. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to customer sites. Attention to detail, accurate recordkeeping, and ability to follow standardized procedures. Effective communication skills and professional customer service when working on-site with clients.
