LFPD is currently accepting applications for Lateral Firefighter/EMT positions to establish an eligibility list for future vacancies. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Minimum age: 21 years Valid, unrestricted Colorado driver's license (or ability to obtain within one month of hire) Two (2) years of continuous experience as a full-time Structural Firefighter/EMT Pro Board or IFSAC Firefighter I certification (or higher) Pro Board or IFSAC Hazardous Materials Operations certification (or higher) State of Colorado EMT
EMT Basic or National Registry EMT certification and the ability to obtain Colorado State certification within one (1) month of hire.
Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings (background check, drug screening, physical, psychological evaluation) Post-Employment Requirements Successful completion of the district condensed academy Completion of the following within one year of hire:
