Join our team and discover why we are a top veteran employer and Certified Great Place to Work™ ASRC Federal is seeking a Firefighter Trainee to attend fighter course to become a certified Firefighter in support of our Vance AFB Base Operations Support Contract located in Enid, Oklahoma. Firefighter Trainee will attend an 8-Week, in-person firefighter course comprised of intense classroom and physical, hands-on training held at the Tulsa Tech Campus. The classroom portion includes a great deal of information, so trainees must excel academically to prepare for the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress/Pro Board certification exams. Trainees must also demonstrate exceptional teamwork and leadership skills, which are core values of the fire service, establish professional behavior in the classroom to prepare for working as a firefighter, and be physically fit for strenuous firefighter training. Required Qualifications Students must be able to obtain the following course within seven days of selection and prior to the beginning of the firefighter course:
IS-100.C
Introduction to the Incident Command System, ICS 100 IS-200.

Basic Incident Command System for Initial Response
IS-700.B
An Introduction to the National Incident Management System
IS-800.D
National Response Framework, An Introduction Must have a High School degree or equivalent Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident, due to contract requirements Must pass a background check and drug test Must pass the Physical Fitness Evaluation to include strength, agility, and claustrophobia test prior to the beginning of the firefighter course
