DESIGNATED QUALITY REPRESENTATIVE (DQR)

Job Description

Designated Quality Representative (DQR) Aerospace Techniques, Inc., is an innovative, high-tech leading supplier of machining services for aircraft engines, aerospace, medical industries. We are seeking a Designated Quality Representative who will be will be responsible for reviewing documentation and compliance with all customer requirements on outgoing shipments. Aerospace Techniques is a precision manufacturer of aircraft engine components. Our customers include Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, Rolls-Royce, GE, and Honeywell. Prior or current DQR certification from any of these major OEMs is greatly preferred.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Essential Responsibilities:
Product release activity (a distinct verification conducted independent from final inspection to ensure the purchase order requirements have been met and to authorize shipment of the product to the delegating organization) Verify compliance with the customer s requirements Verify supplier documentation Check documentation (from Purchase Order to Certificate of Conformity) Visual inspection (marking, appearance, condition) as allowed by customer Ensure that the FAIR (First Article Inspection Report) has been approved by the customer Complete checks of previously identified non-conformities Verify packaging requirements Check documentation for each shipment (router, etc.) Review Certificate of Conformity before stamping
Qualifications/Requirements:
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
: High School Diploma / GED Ability to obtain
AS13001 DPRV
Certification 1 year of experience 6 months of experience with Pratt & Whitney products Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Computer proficient (Microsoft Office, ERP System, and other applications) Demonstrate highest moral, ethical and legal standards Good communication skills Interpret technical drawings and specifications Ability to complete any required Release Verification Training Requirements This role is restricted to U. S. persons (i. e., U. S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U. S. C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. Aerospace Techniques, Inc. will require proof of status prior to employment
SALARY REQUIREMENTS
$24.00 to $32.00 per hour. Salary is negotiable based upon experience. SHIFT 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Hours for the position may vary based upon production.
