Job Description

SUMMARY:
The Receiving Inspector is responsible for performing the contract review process of components after induction of aviation components that are due for maintenance and alteration tasks on civil aviation articles in accordance with the current technical data provided in the manufacturers' Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Services Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable to or approved by the
FAA. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Perform the Contract Review Process of components after they are inducted to ensure customer expectations are communicated clearly. Interact with the Customer Account Leaders to clarify customer expectations as needed. Perform preliminary detail inspection of component to identify any loose, extra, missing, or damaged parts. Receive and sign for the freight from delivery services. Sort freight to the appropriate area. Open boxes of freight and confirm contents match the paperwork received. Fill out appropriate documentation for components received without sufficient information. Complete the 360° receiving photographs in a photo booth. Distribute the components to the appropriate locations after induction. Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
: High School/GED equivalent. 1-2 years of relevant/technical work experience. Basic computer operating skills (Word/Excel). Proficient writing and communication skills. Have the ability to read and comprehend customer purchase orders.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
: Aviation Accessory experience preferred. 0-1 years contract review experience in the aviation industry preferred.

The selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing.
