The Claims Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction and product quality by thoroughly inspecting returned goods and claims orders. This position is responsible for identifying root causes of product issues, verifying compliance with customer specifications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve claims efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing and printing processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment. This role supports continuous improvement efforts and contributes to maintaining high standards of quality and service.
What You'll Be Doing:
Conduct thorough inspections of claims orders to ensure compliance with product specifications and customer requirements prior to shipment.
Investigate and document the root causes of product claims, ensuring issues are resolved effectively and permanently.
Maintain a strong understanding of internal production processes to support accurate assessments and resolutions.
Prepare and stage products for daily shipments, ensuring readiness and quality.
Inspect pre-production and marketing samples to verify quality standards before customer delivery.
Collaborate closely with Product Management, Operations, and Resolutions teams to address product concerns and improve processes.
Capture and archive product images as needed for documentation and analysis.
Monitor and report on customer satisfaction related to claims, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
Provide feedback and recommendations on claims-related policies and procedures.
Process inbound product returns efficiently and accurately.
Communicate claim status updates to relevant stakeholders via phone, email, and Teams meetings. What makes you a great fit:
High School diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in graphics design, printing, or manufacturing processes.
In-depth knowledge of the company's product line and specifications.
Proficiency in database systems; experience with Acumatica or similar platforms is a plus.
