Overview:
Represents Blu Perspective's customer in a professional manner and creates trusting relationships Manages activities required by the customer to navigate through non-conforming product or logistical issues Assures non-conforming products are contained and clean points are identified Provides efficient and effective communication to customer and supplier (i.e. Verbal, written status reports, in person communication) Assists in problem solving activities to aid in the correction and elimination of issues Ongoing on-site presence to assure customer and supplier requirements are being met Support during new product launch or engineering change builds Core responsibilities Product knowledge expert that understands the design, manufacturing processes, and customer requirements of the product/s being represented. Participates in product reviews, customer meetings as required, new product launch builds and reviews, non-conforming product reviews, etc. Collection, organizing and reporting data that provides information to the customer to aid in problem solving activities, analysis of trends, results of continuous improvement initiatives, new product launch results, etc. Direct interaction with customer and supplier quality and production, etc. to understand and navigate through issues and concerns, and develops a trusting relationship between supplier and customer. Utilizes a problem solving approach to non-conforming product issues, logistical issues, communication concerns, etc. This includes working directly with supplier and customer resources to help determine root causes, corrective actions, and implementation of improvements. Organize and manage any necessary containment activities that assure the supplier protects the customer from any non-conforming products reaching their production, including identifying and maintaining clean points. Strong focus on customer satisfaction in regards to product quality, supply timeliness, reaction times, communication, improvements and overall management of activities related to maintaining trust between the supplier and the customer Strong advocate and representative that makes sure the customer's needs, concerns and success are a priority Develop and maintain excellent communication both verbally and written that creates alignment between customer and supplier, along with assuring accuracy of information flow. Supports new product launch and engineering changes by being present and active during new product or engineering change product builds. Provides feedback to supplier and customer on results of these builds related to the product/s they represent Understand and abide by safety guidelines through Blu Perspective and at the work locations, understand and abide by Blu Perspective HR policies and applicable HR guidelines at work locations Requirements 3+ years in a Quality or Manufacturing role 3+ years of automotive industry experience
  • manufacturing 2+ years of experience at a leadership level 2+ years of customer service, direct customer interface experience High School Diploma Key skills and qualifications Experience working through basic problem solving, especially related to product and process non-conformances Assures effective communication between customer and supplier Proficient with Word, Excel and Email applications
  • Ability to maintain reports, graphs, charts, etc.
Effective verbal and written communicator Strong organizational and documentation skills. Customer advocate with the ability to successfully negotiate disposition of issues and products on the behalf of the customer
