Tribal Court JudgeThis position supports the administration of justice within the Mi'kmaq Nation Tribal Court system. Candidates must demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to fair, impartial, and culturally responsive legal proceedings that respect Tribal sovereignty.
Skills & QualificationsMinimum QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolActive license to practice lawRelevant legal or judicial experiencePreferredExperience with Tribal Courts or Indigenous communitiesExperience with ICWA cases.
