Note:
An active Florida Bar license in good standing is required. Florida family law experience is preferred, and attorneys with strong litigation or trial experience in another practice area are also encouraged to apply. Our team handles challenging cases involving parenting plans, child support, alimony, paternity, property division, and complex financial issues. Job Description Manage family law matters while maintaining consistent communication with clients and case stakeholders. Assess cases, develop litigation strategy, and guide matters toward settlement or trial. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, legal memoranda, and court filings. Prepare for and participate in hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials. Analyze financial records, income, expenses, and assets for settlement negotiations and litigation. Conduct legal research and remain current on Florida family law, local rules, and relevant court decisions. Manage complex and high-asset matters with strong organization and attention to detail. Partner closely with assigned paralegal support to move cases efficiently and effectively. Qualifications Active Florida Bar membership in good standing required. Florida family law experience preferred. Trial or litigation experience in another practice area may also be considered. Strong legal writing, research, analytical, and oral communication skills. Ability to manage multiple matters, deadlines, and client expectations. High professional standards, sound judgment, and strong ethics. Ability to work full-time on-site in Cape Coral, Florida.
