Family Law Associate Attorney Illinois About Our Practice We are a boutique Illinois family law firm dedicated exclusively to sophisticated matrimonial and family law matters. Our practice is intentionally focused and highly personalized, allowing us to provide thoughtful, strategic representation while maintaining close relationships with our clients. The Opportunity We are seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney to join our team. This position is ideal for an attorney who values mentorship, meaningful responsibility, and high‑quality legal work over volume practice. The associate will work on complex family law . This can be a combination of on-site and remote. Responsibilities Handle a broad range of Illinois family law matters, including divorce, parenting time and allocation of parental responsibilities, child support, maintenance, property division, and post‑judgment issues Draft pleadings, motions, financial disclosures, settlement agreements, and court orders with attention to detail Prepare cases for hearings, mediations, and trials Prepare for and attend court appearances Communicate directly with clients Manage cases thoughtfully and ethically, balancing client advocacy with professionalism and sound judgment Qualifications Juris Doctor from an ABA‑accredited law school Active license and good standing with the Illinois State Bar Prior experience in Illinois family law preferred (typically 1-5+ years) Excellent legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines independently Join us if you're passionate about advocating for families with enthusiasm and professionalism!
