You'll serve as the compassionate voice of our law firm, fielding inbound calls from prospective clients in their time of need, screening and surveying for potential cases, and helping our lawyers manage their meetings. If the thought of coming to work every day and making a positive impact on the lives of the clients we serve excites you, start your application today! Why This Job Is Different Most sales jobs have you pushing products you don't believe in to people who don't need them. This one is different. At Martin IP Law Group, you'll be helping inventors, engineers, and visionaries figure out how to protect their ideas — patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. Clients have something real at stake, and your job is to help them understand their options and take the right next step. We're a small, close-knit IP law firm in downtown Evansville, Indiana, with a satellite office in Carmel, Indiana. One attorney, a growing support team, and a genuine commitment to building something great together. If you want a job where your work actually matters, and your growth is limited only by your effort, keep reading. How to Apply We do ask one small extra step — not to make your life harder, but because it tells us something important. Before applying, find and read "A Message to Garcia" by Elbert Hubbard (it's short and free online). In your response to the "Why do you think you are a good fit?" question, include one paragraph — no more than that — explaining why you think we asked you to read it before applying here.
One more thing:
Also in response to the "Why do you think you are a good fit?" question, write your last name and then your first name — both spelled backwards. If that sounds like too much trouble, this probably isn't the right fit. If it sounds kind of interesting, we'd love to hear from you.
Compensation:
$18 - $24 hourly
Responsibilities:
What You'll Do As the Client Intake Specialist, you'll be the first point of contact for prospective new clients.
Your day-to-day will include:

What matters most is that you show up ready to learn.
Qualifications:
Full familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite, with advanced Excel proficiency Strong computer and data entry skills Previous legal experience highly valued Previous customer service or sales experience preferred Excellent and empathetic verbal and written communication skills required Familiarity with case management and CRM systems a bonus High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred Who We're Looking For We're not hung up on a specific degree or years of experience. This is a real growth opportunity, not a dead end.
