A growing multi-office Oklahoma law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their team in Ada, OK. What You'll Do as the
Associate Attorney:
Assist with criminal and family law matters from intake through resolution Appear in court and participate in hearings and other legal proceedings Work directly with an experienced attorney to develop practical legal skills Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other court filings Meet with clients and assist with ongoing client communication Develop strong case management and courtroom skills Learn Oklahoma district court practices and procedures Support case strategy and preparation as experience develops Take on increasing responsibility and independence over time Must-Haves as the
Associate Attorney:
Active Oklahoma Bar license and good standing Strong interest in criminal law, family law, or both Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Coachability and openness to feedback Professional judgment and integrity Ability to work collaboratively while developing increasing independence Nice-to-Haves as the
Associate Attorney:
Recent law school graduation or early-career legal experience Prior courtroom, clerkship, internship, or externship experience Experience with criminal or family law matters Familiarity with Oklahoma district court procedures Experience drafting pleadings, motions, or other legal documents
This Role Offers:
