About Us Caldwell Wenzel & Asthana is a leading personal injury law firm serving clients across Alabama. We are seeking a Pre-Litigation Assistant to join our Foley office. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment where your work makes a direct impact on people's lives. Position Overview The Pre-Litigation Assistant will support attorneys and case managers by handling day-to-day tasks at the early stages of personal injury cases. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while providing compassionate client service. Key Responsibilities Open new claims and create case files in firm software Draft and send letters of representation to insurance companies and providers Maintain frequent, professional contact with clients to provide updates and answer questions Assist clients in setting up medical treatment following accidents Coordinate and follow up on property damage claims (repairs, total loss, rentals, etc.) Request and organize medical records, bills, and other supporting documentation Track case progress and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding items Manage front desk at the Foley office Provide general administrative support to attorneys and case managers as needed Qualifications Prior law firm, insurance, or medical office experience preferred (personal injury experience a plus) Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management software (experience with Needles or similar software preferred) Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team Compassionate, professional demeanor when working with clients who are often under stress Join Caldwell Wenzel & Asthana in making a difference for injury victims across Alabama.
