Job Description
Job Overview Attorney needed by fast growing firm for work in family, criminal, and personal injury law practice. Much of the attorney's focus will be on independently managing a domestic and criminal caseload. Other work will include ad hoc tasks associated with the firm's personal injury wing. Recent law school grads are encouraged to apply. Training is provided. We are willing to consider remote, onsite, or hybrid work setups. No billable hours! Duties Consult compassionately with family law clients Appear in court on family law, criminal, and personal injury matters Perform civil and criminal discovery Take depositions Assist with and 2nd chair jury trials Visit accident scenes and oversee vehicle inspections Attend mediations Conduct investigations Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to the AL state bar Strong knowledge of AL Civil Procedure Motivated with solid social skills, and the ability to talk intelligently and credibly with stakeholders both on the phone and in person In court experience (those with jury trial experience preferred)
