Job Description

Company Overview Lecangs LLC is a dynamic 3PL (third-party logistics) provider specializing in comprehensive eCommerce warehousing and logistics services. With a global network of 21 warehouses, including eight in the U.S., Lecangs supports over 2000 eCommerce businesses, including its parent company's brands, by delivering efficient and reliable storage and distribution solutions. Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Legal Counsel to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will provide expert legal guidance across various business functions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations while supporting our company's growth initiatives. Your proactive approach will help safeguard our operations and foster a compliant, ethical business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts (customer/vendor/service/partnership agreements, NDAs, etc.). Analyze legal risks in business transactions and provide practical recommendations to business teams and management. Manage contract templates, processes, and corporate governance matters. Advise HR and management on U.S. employment law, employee relations, policy compliance, and dispute handling. Support U.S. immigration matters (H-1B, L-1, PERM, I-140, I-485, green card processes), coordinate with external counsel, and track case status. Review and negotiate commercial real estate agreements (leases, property management, warehouse/facility contracts). Coordinate external law firms, manage legal project costs, and maintain organized legal records.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in corporate/commercial contracts, employment law, or immigration law. Strong knowledge of U.S. laws and regulations, with ability to identify risks and offer actionable advice. Solid experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and risk assessment. Hands-on experience with U.S. employment law and HR legal support. Familiarity with H-1B, L-1, PERM, and employment-based green card processes (preferred). Experience with commercial real estate leases and property contracts (preferred). Strong legal research, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Business-minded, able to balance legal risk with operational needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple matters independently. Fluent in English; Chinese language skills are a strong plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior in-house counsel or law firm experience supporting corporate clients. Experience with Chinese companies operating or expanding in the U.S. Background in cross-border e-commerce, logistics, or warehousing.
Expertise across multiple areas:
corporate/commercial law + employment law + immigration law. Experience supporting multi-state operations. U.S. Bar license preferred, but candidates with strong practical U.S. law experience will also be considered.
Pay:
$100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
