These are hands-on positions for individuals who want to be actively involved in their cases from start to finish, take pride in staying organized and keeping cases moving forward, and are eager to take ownership of their work while continuing to develop their litigation skills. Salary is commensurate with education, experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the position. Litigation experience is preferred, and candidates with more substantial litigation experience may be considered for a higher starting salary. Responsibilities Review, analyze, and summarize medical records and prepare detailed correspondence. Prepare and file pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents. Draft and respond to Interrogatories and Requests for Production. Track court deadlines, internal deadlines, appointments, and other important case dates. Maintain organized and up-to-date case files, calendars, and reporting systems. Consistently review files, identify what needs to be done next, and keep cases moving forward toward resolution. Communicate with clients, medical providers, attorneys, and investigation sources. Assist with all aspects of case preparation from intake through resolution. Handle administrative and case-management responsibilities as needed. Experience and Skills Litigation experience is preferred (1-3 years), but we are willing to train someone who is the right fit for our team. We value a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and someone who takes pride in doing things accurately and thoroughly.
The ideal candidate will have:
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Strong organizational and time-management skills. The ability to prioritize competing deadlines and responsibilities. The ability to manage multiple cases and assignments while staying organized and following through. Strong writing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills. The ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team member. A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to take ownership of their work. The ability and willingness to learn new systems and technology. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe. • A four-year degree in Legal Studies is preferred, not required.
