Job Description

Bankruptcy Attorney | Remote | Florida A well-established law firm is seeking a Florida-licensed Bankruptcy Attorney with 1-10 years of experience to join its growing bankruptcy practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with experience representing lenders and creditors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 matters, with strong exposure to bankruptcy litigation and court proceedings. What You'll Do Handle Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy matters, primarily representing lenders and creditors Attend required bankruptcy court hearings throughout the Middle District of Florida Handle bankruptcy litigation, including Adversary Complaints and appeals Assist with Chapter 11 matters and other complex bankruptcy proceedings Manage cases independently while providing strong legal guidance to clients What We're Looking For 1-10 years of bankruptcy experience Florida Bar admission and current physical residence in Florida Strong understanding of Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy procedures and law Bankruptcy litigation experience, particularly Adversary Complaints and appeals, strongly preferred Chapter 11 experience preferred Experience representing lenders and creditors is a plus Multiple jurisdiction admissions are a significant plus Ability to appear in court in the Middle District of Florida What You'll Get Fully remote work-from-home position, with required court appearances Opportunity to handle sophisticated bankruptcy and litigation matters $100,000-$130,000 base salary Eligibility for a discretionary bankruptcy bonus program up to $11,500 annually 1,920 annual billable hour requirement Bonus eligibility beginning at 2,100 billable hours Strong opportunity for continued growth within the bankruptcy practice
