Civil Litigation Associate Attorney A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing litigation practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys handling a broad range of civil litigation matters and wants meaningful responsibility and autonomy throughout the life of a case. Responsibilities Manage a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other legal documents Take and defend depositions Participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials Develop case strategy and work closely with clients, opposing counsel, and experts Analyze liability, damages, and relevant legal issues Handle discovery and prepare cases for trial Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to effectively manage matters Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Active license and good standing in Idaho 2+ years of civil litigation experience Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills Experience with discovery, depositions, and motion practice Ability to independently manage cases while working effectively as part of a team Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Experience in general civil litigation, commercial/business litigation, contract disputes, construction litigation/disputes, or insurance-related disputes are welcome.
