What you'll do: Represent energy companies and public utilities in complex litigation and regulatory-related disputes. Handle matters involving electric utilities, energy markets, infrastructure, and other issues affecting the energy industry. Assist with all phases of litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motions, hearings, and trial preparation. Analyze complex legal and regulatory issues and develop practical strategies for clients. Work closely with senior attorneys and clients to effectively manage litigation matters. Develop strong relationships with clients and provide responsive, business-focused legal advice. Participate in business development and client relationship initiatives.
What you will need:
J.D. from an accredited law school. 3+ years of experience practicing energy litigation. Experience representing public utility companies is strongly preferred. Active bar membership in good standing . Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. A client-focused approach and the ability to understand and respond to clients' business objectives. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing matters independently. Demonstrated interest in developing long-term client relationships and participating in business development activities.
