Position Summary The Regional Legal Coordinator, Americas supports commercial legal and compliance activities across the Americas region. This role provides hands-on support with commercial contracts, contract lifecycle management, data privacy, outside counsel coordination, and other legal and compliance matters. Working closely with Global Legal & Compliance and regional business teams, this position helps manage legal risk, keep contracts moving, and support the business with practical legal guidance. What You'll Do Review, negotiate, and manage sales and purchasing contracts across the Americas region. Draft, maintain, and update contract templates in coordination with Global Legal. Manage non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), terms and conditions, framework agreements, and supply agreements. Support U.S. data privacy compliance activities and coordinate with global privacy requirements, including GDPR where applicable. Coordinate with outside counsel on litigation, employment, regulatory, and other legal matters. Serve as the regional key user for Balluff's Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system, including user support, workflow coordination, and training. Deliver CLM training and provide first-level support to internal users. Maintain contract records and monitor key deadlines, renewals, and terminations. Maintain privacy-related documentation, including data processing agreements and records supporting compliance requirements. Support corporate housekeeping, intellectual property administration, and merger and acquisition due diligence activities as needed. Collaborate with Global Legal & Compliance and regional stakeholders on legal, compliance, and business initiatives. Identify and escalate legal, contractual, and compliance risks that may impact the business. Assist with special projects and other legal or compliance initiatives as assigned. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Office-based work with primarily seated, computer-based activities. Frequent use of computers, legal document management systems, and contract management software. Requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive legal and business information. What You Bring Bachelor's degree, paralegal certificate, legal studies degree, Master of Legal Studies (MLS), Master of Studies in Law (MSL), or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. 3-5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in commercial contracts and/or an in-house corporate legal environment. Strong understanding of commercial contracts and contract administration. Working knowledge of U.S. privacy laws; familiarity with GDPR principles preferred. Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) software preferred. Experience coordinating with outside counsel preferred. Strong organizational, analytical, and document management skills with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and work independently while collaborating with cross-functional and global teams. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Perplexity, or similar is a plus.
