Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Family Law Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this vital role, you will support family law attorneys by managing case files, preparing legal documents, and coordinating client communications. Your proactive approach and organizational skills will help ensure smooth case progression and excellent client service. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your legal expertise in a fast-paced, collaborative environment committed to justice and client advocacy. Responsibilities Assist attorneys with all aspects of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, adoption, and spousal support matters Prepare and review legal documents such as pleadings, affidavits, discovery requests, and settlement agreements with precision and attention to detail Conduct legal research using tools like Westlaw, LexisNexis, and iManage to support case strategies Manage case files electronically and physically, ensuring proper organization and timely updates within document management systems Interview clients, witnesses, and other stakeholders to gather relevant information and maintain clear communication throughout the case process Coordinate court filings, schedule hearings, and track deadlines to ensure compliance with legal procedures Support attorneys with administrative tasks including data entry, proofreading, transcription, and maintaining accurate records of case activities Skills Proven paralegal experience with a strong understanding of family law procedures and terminology Experience with legal case management software Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining accuracy Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; keen proofreading abilities for reviewing documents for errors Effective interviewing techniques to gather comprehensive client information while demonstrating professionalism and empathy Knowledge of administrative support functions including clerical experience, filing procedures, data entry accuracy, phone etiquette, and organizational skills Join us if you're passionate about family law and eager to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives. Pay:
$65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
