The Sr Commercial Counsel is assigned as the legal support/business counsel for the company's Endovascular Robotics (EVR) division based in Newton, MA, supporting business leaders and interacting with cross-functional stakeholders to proactively address legal topics and mitigate risk across a wide range of commercial and regulatory topics, including clinical trials, collaborations and procurement agreements. As Sr. Commercial Counsel, you will be responsible for : Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide variety of commercial agreements to meet business and legal requirements, including highly complex go-to-market agreements and agreements with other medical device manufacturers or other parties Drafting and negotiating clinical trial agreements and accompany their execution to support development of new medical devices utilizing robotic technologies. Developing solutions which are compliant and serve the business need to support complicated business challenges. Serving as legal representative on EVR senior leadership team Partnering with different stakeholders (e.g. Quality, Regulatory, Medical/Clinical, R D, Operations, Compliance, HR, and Commercial teams) to proactively identify, address and mitigate legal risks and bring business forward. Proven ability to communicate legal topics and risk and recommendations to business leaders in clear, practical terms. High integrity, sound judgment, and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information. Willingness and ability to travel domestically and, from time-to-time, internationally. Preferred skills to have success in this role Working effectively in a highly matrixed, global organization Experience with U.S. healthcare legal and regulatory environment, fluency with medtech industry strongly preferred.
