A highly regarded boutique law firm is seeking an experienced Trust & Estate Planning Attorney to join its established practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 5-10 years of estate planning experience who is looking for sophisticated work, a strong work-life balance, and the opportunity to build a long-term practice. The firm has an excellent reputation and offers attorneys the opportunity to work closely with clients while developing meaningful professional relationships and growing their own book of business. The Opportunity Handle sophisticated estate planning and trust matters for individuals, families, and business owners. Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents. Advise clients on estate, trust, and wealth transfer planning strategies. Work with clients' financial advisors, accountants, and other professional advisors. Develop and maintain long-term client relationships. Opportunity to develop your own client base and build a book of business. Work alongside experienced attorneys in a collaborative and collegial environment. Take on increasing responsibility with significant opportunity for professional growth. What We're Looking For 5-10 years of estate planning experience. J.D. from an accredited law school. Active Maryland Bar membership. Strong estate planning and drafting experience. Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team. Interest in building long-term client relationships and developing a practice. Compensation & Benefits Compensation based on experience Performance-based bonus structure Full benefits package 401(k) eligibility beginning on the first day of employment 1,650 annual billable hour expectation Strong work-life balance Professional development and advancement opportunities Work Environment The position begins with an initial 90-day in-office period designed to provide training, collaboration, and integration with the team. Following the initial 90 days, the position transitions to a hybrid schedule with approximately 7 days in the office each month, providing meaningful flexibility while maintaining regular in-person collaboration.
